Most tracking companies are not starting from zero — they are carrying an installed base across several vendors and a decade of decisions. A hardware-agnostic platform is what makes that history an asset instead of a write-off.
The platform supports a very wide range of tracker makes and models rather than a single vendor’s line — which is the whole reason a distributor can move a fleet without touching the vehicles.
Fuel level, temperature, door state, engine hours and CAN bus data arrive on the same record as the position they belong to.
An installed base is an asset you bring with you. Where a model is supported, migration is a configuration exercise — not a re-fitting programme with a vehicle off the road for a day.
When a manufacturer ships something you want to sell, IoT Logic is where the platform learns to read it — without waiting on a firmware release.
The link runs both ways: configuration and commands can be pushed to a device from the same platform that reads it.
Compatibility is a list, not an opinion. Send us the models in the fleet and we will confirm against the supported-device list before anybody signs anything.
What it means for you
Every competitor who insists on their own hardware is asking your customer to pay twice — once for the units they already own and once for yours. Being able to say “keep them” is the cheapest advantage in this business, and it is the first thing a fleet manager listens for.
